6th grade made Dirt Pudding Cups on Monday! It was another easy recipe they can make at home. It is a great source of calcium and low in sugar. We used sugar free pudding, light cool whip, and fat free milk. The gummy worms and oreos did not add much to calories because not many were used. A great snack! | |
7th Grade made English Muffin Pizzas today!! This was an easy to follow recipe which students can easily make at home on their own (with their parents' permission to use the oven of course). They planned out who was doing which parts of the recipe and did everything on their own, prep and clean up included!! This was also a very healthy recipe! The english muffins were low in calories and high in fiber, the cheese sticks were low in fat, and had only a few pepperonis. Other toppings such as veggies could also be added to this recipe! | |
